Divisions & Standards

SWIM INFORMATION: The 2018 WODGODZ competition introduced our athletes to a swim element, which was made possible by a partnership with The BPH Billiton YMCA and this year we plan to return to the pool again!! Rest assured, there will be scaling options for all swim abilities, including shallow lanes where non-swimmers can walk on bottom of the pool, flotation aids, and ladders to assist exiting the pool, if needed. So, bring your bathing suit, goggles, and your lucky towel and be prepared to get wet Saturday afternoon.

Find more information about each division and the movement standards below. If you have a questions, feel free to send us an email, and we would be happy to help you find the spot that is right for you! Note that the appearance of a movement below does not guarantee it will be seen. Use these lists as a general guide of abilities for each division.

Because of questions we have received regarding individual movements and how they will appear in the WODs, we also want to stress that if there is a movement that you aren’t 100% confident in, don’t let that be the reason you don’t sign up and have fun trying to crush it! We have designed and tested these WODs to be challenging for all groups, but also very realistic for each respective group’s expected abilities…don’t be afraid to push yourself and identify that weakness that needs to be addressed before the OPEN rolls around. That’s how we all get better as individual athletes and as a community!
